Based on the scant details of this new 4K model released in CES 2015 news, how do you guys think it compares to its existing 4K peers from Samsung and LG?
Watched a video demo'd FALD 80" using Quattron 4K = 100% DCI and HDR.

As of a minute ago they pulled the LG model LG 79UF9500 listed (The page you requested is no longer available. We have redirected you to a similar page for your convenience.)2015 will be very competitive year when it comes to large screen 4k TV's. I'm looking to get myself something that's 80"+ minimum, so the fact that it mhas 8k support even if pseudo is enticing!
Here are the prices for the current 2015 big screen 4k TV's:

Thanks! I just pre-ordered the LC80UH30 from them for $4,999. They are saying 6-8 weeks for delivery but my guess is that it will be longer than that. It's a $20 charge for the hold which is removed form the card and you can cancel anytime before delivery. Is this the official Sharp 2015 thread? BTW, does anybody know when the LC80UE30 will become available and what is the main difference between the UE30 and UH30, besides it having SPECTROS color and THX certification? SPECTROS color I assume means it has a fully capable 10-bit panel?
I see both models listed here, with the LC80UE30 selling for $4,499.99 - http://www.adorama.com/SHLC80UE30.html - Doesn't say pre-order, so I assume it's purchasable?
They are both 2015 models and the differences between the two are pretty clear. the Q17U is the Q+ model which is a 1080P display where the D27U is their first 4K entry for late 2014/early 2015. The price on that 4K set is coming down rapidly, most likely in advance of the UH and UE models. I too though have a question as to what the differences are between the UH70 that has yet to be released and the UD27U which is out now. Both are THX certified so I am not sure if there are any significant differences.Weird stuff...any opinions on
