Watching two different video sources at the same time - Passive 3D

I'd like to be able to:

1) Watch TV and play Xbox One at the same time
2) Play Xbox One on two different consoles at the same time

The Sony XBR-65X900A displays full 1080P to each eye.

It looks like if I run the two HDMI inputs through a HDMI->SDI converted and then into this device:

https://www.aja.com/en/products/mini-converters/hi5-3d

and then where these glasses:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

that it should be able to be the case that two people can watch different content from the same screen.

The HI5-3D isn't especially cheap, but the workaround for us now is to have a second computer monitor in the living room that we setup when we want to play 2 console co-op which is an eyesore + whomever is on the computer monitor doesn't get the big screen enjoyment.

Anyone have an experience with this sort of setup they'd like to share?

I think the Sony's had something called SplitView where two people could play games using one screen. Don't know if the glasses had built in speakers for the different audio or if it was only for certain games, but if it is 4K passive it should be feasible.

They do -- I think in that case it is a single console outputting the signal. I'm looking to multiplex from two consoles.

I'm current chatting w/ the nice folks at AJA about this setup to sanity check its viability.
