I was at Costco today and felt I was ready for a new tv to replace my Sharp 46" display. I have a large Living room with at least 15ft viewing distance. I am considering the Sharp 70 LC70C6600U or the Samsung UN65H6300A. My budget is $1500 and Costco has such a great return and warranty program. I am open to suggestions and my biggest concerns are decent PQ (willing to make custom adjustments) and when watching sports that the ghosting isn't too bad. Thank you in advance for all your suggestions.
Hmm... Trying to see what the Costco equivalent to the Sony 60" KDL65W850B was again... Certainly not ruling out those other two brands, either. Only reason I mention them is because of Sony having a huge sale on their 2014 models.
Although I see Costco has a 70W830B, let's hope that's still at or below $1500 like the 60" W850B is, but it should be worth the look.
Thanks but just checked even with price break Sony 70 is 1699.99 so after all would be 1950. That is $350 over budget and I really don't need 3D... is it worth it should I wait 6 months if you think that the two I mentioned aren't any good???
Sharp panels (especially the 70 inch) seem to frequently have a white spot issue. I only know this because my Vizio was recently replaced, which uses a Sharp panel. I have no data on the other brands
