Sony 2015 models mostly without PWM (flicker-free)

First, thanks to the user proyal at flatpanelshd.com for informing us. As I have learned by following his links and instructions, the site rtings.com now reviews LCD TVs for backlight flicker, and according to the site, almost all Sony 2015 models of TVs which were reviewed have the option to set the backlight to flicker-free. The other manufacturers unfortunately do not. The only Sony outlier so far is the X930C.

It is controlled by the "clearness" setting at MotionFlow controls. With the CLEARNESS set to NORMAL, the backlight does not flicker!

Here are the models which were tested:

R510C:

W800C:

X830C:

X850C:

unfortunately the X930C still flickers even with clearness set to normal:

And thanks again to proyal and RTINGS! And I sincerely hope that people who have problems with PWM flicker will find this useful. Good day.
