They're both very even to be honest, and I've extensively used both. Except the Vizio P is a hell of a lot cheaper. I went from JS9500 to Vizio P and haven't regretted it for a second.

What did you do with the JS9500? Did you have to sell it?

Ones curved ones flat. Otherwise they have very similar specifications for Games on a console. For computers the Vizio P-series will do 4:4:4 but it will also do 1080p @ 120 FPS which none of the current "J" Series Samsung TVs can do.

That's a tough call. Samsung is curved with glossy panel... Vizio is flat with semi gloss panel.

Vizio has Dolby Vision and looks like it should have a bit better black level but the Samsung will probably be a little bolder with colors.

The Samsung may also be a bit better up scaling lower res sources.

The Vizio should have less input lag.

Good luck!

For me it was between the LG Oled and JS9500, I chose the 9500 mostly due to the One Connect box (which is causing a bit of controversy at the moment). Upgrade or not its still a heck of a feature to have all your devices ran to an external device.

Samsung 65JS9500
Philips BDP7501 UHD Blu Ray player
PS4/WiiU
Apple TV4
Onkyo TX-SR606
Harmony Ultimate
