Yes, I'm going to buy a 86UH9500 but waiting for prices to come down and for the Vudu app to work to get the Dolby Vision content.

Can somebody PLEASE post pictures of this? I can't find any online and the stock images vary visually website to website!

Can't tell how different it ACTUALLY is compared to the 8500.

Yeah... how much? lol

And how are the speakers outputting 80 watts...?

And why do some pictures show it with a black back and some show it with a white back?

Does anyone have an idea as to how low the cost of this (86UH9500) should get by the end of the year? I'm assuming that the cost eventually comes down substantially but by how much?

I received my 65Uh9500 today and I am very happy. I had the Uh8500 prior and it had banding from it 8 bit panel and the 9500 has none. The black are deep and the tv is neat. Just remember to go into updates to download 149 files before watching.nthe update includes the dobyvision update.

Does it have a black or white back?

And is the silver bezel very "noticeable"?

i tried to play some soccer videos, some shade of very light vertical banding still noticeable when the camera is panning from side to side bring it a live streaming 720p or 4k uhd samples.

please help to confirm this.

The bottom rear quarter of the tv where the hdmi and speaker are white the remaining 3/4 is a metallic silver. The bezel is silver but it really thin and I don't even notice it while watching a movie compared to the 8500 which has a huge bezel. I watched the 3D of gravity which is a differcult movie with the white of the ship and spacesuits next to the black. This tv rocked out of the park. The 8500 had banding and issues with the dark. I am watched the movie in a total dark room. The tv is in my media room that is 11.1 atoms and DTSX with my Denon 6200 with Def Tech all the way around and 4 in the ceiling. Any question on the tv I am game.

Can someone who owns this show reflections in bright room (if possible), let us know where the lights are at on the edge (on top, or on the sides), light bleed (if any), gaming latency if possible.

BTW -- damn!!! this TV is thin!

Based on your description the UH9500 appears to have more dimming zones than the UH8500? Can you tell how many there are?

this photo is in a bright room with 4 large window light coming from left of picture. I have no light bleed at all. Believe me i was looking all way around . none.
Also the speaker sound great for tv. Use cinema mode in the audio set up of tv. When i watch a movie i turn the denon and 11.1 surround and rock it out.

nope i cant but it has a better picture than the 8500. My old tv was Panasonic 65VT25 so i know how black should look. The 8500 back was gray in a dark room ut the 9500 is real good not plasma or OLED good but a slight step down from it. The 9500 is the sleeper of the line and i dont think their in big hurry to oush the set because they make more money selling OLED. From what understand from someone i know at LG the 9500 go down s different line than the 8500 during production and go thru QC test befor shipping looking for issues. I dont think they will catch all issues but this TV is great.

Yes, exactly.....

And it is a big reason why a lot of people did not like the Samsung JS9500/9000.....

Thanks for the pic. Anyway you can take one in direct viewing level? I'm trying to grasp how reflections & brightness of the screen coincide. I have a living room with 2 windows behind me and the 2015 Vizio M's reflection isn't crazy like a plasma, but I feel it could do better, especially now that HDR allows for brighter pictures. Hopefully rtings has one for review soon enough.

Not a bad price but I think Id go 65ef9500 OLED for $3200, no tax free shipping. Of course no DV on that OLED.

They just put up a UH9500 at BB and Im waiting to see some content on it.
