Smile Got a Sony 49x830c... 4k vs. 1080p on regular over-the-air broadcast

I just bought a 49 inch Sony X830X TV, which has a great picture. I just wanted to know - does a 4K TV make regular over-the-air broadcasts in HD look any better than on a 1080p TV? I am wondering if paying the extra couple hundred bucks for a 4K TV vs. a 1080p TV is better. I mainly use it for over-the-air broadcasts like shows, news, and sports. I don't use Blu-ray. The guys at Best Buy said it would make even regular OTA broadcasts look better and clearer than 1080p. What is your opinion?
