75" LED--which one?

I currently have a 70" Sony R550a in our family room, a 70" Vizio M-D3 in our bedroom and I'm now looking for a 75" TV for the theater room. I was originally thinking of getting the M80-D3 but I think I want a higher end TV.

I had assumed the P75-C1 would be the best bet but now after reading the reviews on the Sony X940D, I'm not so sure. Is the x940D worth $1700 more than the P75 (BB pricing)? Should I just go with the M80-D3 as I had originally planned?

I would greatly appreciate your opinions. Perhaps someone has direct experience with these TVs.

I just pulled the trigger today on the Sony X940D based on all the great reviews and personally going to BB Magnolia to see for myself. Compared to the X850D (which was the other set i was considering) it was obvious that a side by side comparison the X940D looked much more vibrant and deeper blacks. Also wanted to get a FALD rather than edge lit to avoid high risk of corner clouding / bleeding.

If your comfortable with it call up Cleveland Plasma and talk to Chris to get a much better price. I am taking a chance on ordering it online but their reputation has been stellar and everything has been smooth thus far.
