TCL TV Casting Ability?

I'm looking to purchase a TCL TV from Costco due to the insanely cheap price and amazing reviews.

TCL 49" 49S403 is $349
TCL 43" 43S303 is $279

This TV will go into my den along with my consoles and PC. I have a Vizio E70 with built in Chromecast and absolutely love it. I can cast virtually anything wireless with minimal effort, however the 50in version of what I want (Vizio) is quite a bit more than the TVs I linked above.

Anyone who uses Chromecast knows how simple it is, I have never used Roku and honestly have no idea how it works. I simply want to cast whatever is on my computer screen to the TV wirelessly, or cast from my phone (youtube/twitch etc) to the TV. Is this possible? I have an iPhone, no Droid devices.

I appreciate it.

I have the 55" TCL Roku TV and it's been great. Roku is SO easy to use. I have a Chromecast Ultra hooked up to it via my Sony receiver, but you can still stream direct to the Roku if you want. If you already have a Chromecast dongle, just plug it into your HDMI and you're good to go.

Only thing you will need to get used to is the Roku remote. MUCH different than traditional remotes. I don't use mine, I just use my Harmony universal remote to do all the legwork.

Ah very nice, thanks for the heads up on WM pricing. However, I LOVE Costco's extra 3 year warranty, and with TVs you never know. Can Walmart beat the SquareTrade warranty?

I bought the 3 year plan for $36. Covers a lot of stuff.
