You're Very Welcome !!!

And to answer your question...

I wouldn't accept that awful banding on your TV as "normal".

@shaunuk88 Banding is something all displays have, but you shouldn't be able to see it with normal content save for things like hockey and football. Not only is your banding really bad, but you also have pretty severe uniformity & DSE issues. Try to get a replacement.

Samsung is known for trying not to replace bad sets. Keep pushing them.

Thumbs down

There is no way in....well, you know, that's normal and within spec. You should win this fight. That's unacceptable.

Most edge lit tvs have some slight bands where the leds light up a vertical strip, but like it's been mentioned here you should only ever notice that on very specific test screens and it's going to be very slight. This is clearly visible during normal viewing and that's not normal or acceptable.

I wonder if because you have a curved set, that's causing problems with trying to get the backlight even, I've only ever had flat screens.

I'm not surprised. I lost faith in Samsung a while ago and with poor customer service like this they are slowing losing the grip on dominating the TV market.

Samsung already replaced a panel on your TV without fixing the problem.

So obviously they don't wanna spend more money and are giving you the "totally normal" excuse.

Hindsight but honestly I have never bought a Samsung television and never will. I sold them for years and they were always breaking and Samsung was a bitch to work with on warranty process.
