what's the consensus on the best calibration for a 46x3100 and a ps3?
I've got it plugged in via HDMI and watch TV on PS3s playTV as well.

I had my Sony-KDL40XBR2 calibrated last week and I'm 100% satisfied with outcome. Guys stop using someone elses settings and get your tv professionally calibrated. There nothing like a properly calibrated grayscale with the proper equipment. If your in lower Michigan contact Joe at Summit HDTV I highly RECOMMEND him!!! Let him work his magic.

A bit off the topic tho. I just wonder why Sony failed to include the USB stick for wireless internet with this TV set.

Well for starters, it lacks the hardware for Wi-Fi connectivity. You have to remember that this unit was manufactured before the widget craze so there was no need for Sony to design the XBR2 as an IPTV at the time. Instead, their primary focus was on image quality which is why it remains one of the best pre-LED TV's at displaying HD source material. It is not so good with SD material. One thing I continue to hate is its poor blacks and lamp bleed through with dark scenery. I digress.

Sony KDL46XBR2 :-o, Samsung SMT-H3270 HDDVR, Oppo BDP-95 (w/a Haier 7" HLT71), Sony BDP-S350, Emo UMC-1 & XPA-5, Custom built LF, RF, C + 2 subs, 2 Polk T90e (surrounds), Blu-ray, BD-A, DVD & DVD-A Collection,SACD Collection
