I can speak to the quality of Planar's on my network having over 250 of them and not a single DOA in the bunch and running 24/7 for over 4 years and never had a single failure during the 3 year warranty. Planar was actually doing LCD for the medical field and the Air Force long before they became popular as TV's. In 4.5 years I've had only one fail after runing 4 years 24/7 and no service requests. Hopefully for those interested that track record will transfer to the TV's as well.

Of course I cannot attest to performance as a TV but as an LCD Monitor they are a value and strong performer - I'm staring at dual 19" Monitors on an Ergotron Stand that are Planar in my home with DVI. Look forward to seeing how they translate as a TV.

Samsung 65F8000, 60D8000, 40HU6350, Panasonic 50E60 LCD's
