About a year ago, I was shopping for a new set. As I had owned a 32" Sony XBR CRT that I bought back in '89 which had a BEAUTIFUL picture and served me well for 15 years, I bought the top of the line Sony HD CRT from CC.
The picture was terrible.
Went back, tried a Panny CRT. Also a terrible set.
Went back, and tried a different model by Sony. The picture on that one was overall pretty good, but had a few issues with color. So, I called Sony service, and they arranged for a service call. The verdict from the serviceman was the tube was n/g.
Went back to CC, explained the problem, and went with the Bravia 40" LCD.
That set was the best. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the picture.
I went through four sets, each time CC delivered with no questions asked. No need for the original packaging for the sets that I returned.
While I had a tough time getting a decent set, CC's service was first rate.
