Hey there. I'm looking for my first HDTV and have narrowed it down to three options. I've read quite a bit about HDTVs and the tech specs of these three displays, but I'd still like to hear some opinions before making the decision and purchase. Any and all advice is welcome. Keep in mind that I'm set on a 32" display, and that it will be used almost all of the time for gaming and DVD viewing, rarely for television viewing. Here are the displays:

Dell W3207C 32"

Sony 32" BRAVIAâ„¢ S-Series LCD HDTVKDL-32S2010

LG 32LC2D - LCD TV - 32"

check out dabombplanet web site for some advice on HDTV. I would probably recommend the Sony because they are actually in Broadcasting and probably know a little bit more about TV's.

None of them offer more than 1 component input, and all but one are considerably more expensive than the Dell or LG.

The best 32 inch LCD TV out there is made by LG. Put them all side by side and look.
I made this decision about a month ago and couldn't be happier. I got the LG for 800 from CC..

You can't go wrong with it. When I bought mine everyone said the same thing, the LG looked the better.

Go with the 32LC2DU, the "u" at the end is the newer model, and it has 2 HDMI inputs compared to 1 with that the old model has.

BTW: CC sells the new model, and BB sells the old.

Thank you. That info is extremely helpful. The LG definitely seems like the better display, but I couldn't find any user reviews to hear how reliable it was. The new "U" version has a bunch of user reviews at the circuitcity website and they're all high praise. Looks like that's the one I will go with. Wish it was still $800, but $999 is still a great price.

So the one at CC has 2 HDMI inputs and 1 RF and the one at BB has 1 HDMI and 2 RF's (because it's the older one). My question is, is there any other difference between the two? Or are they the same except the new one has updated inputs?

This is actually funny beacuse I just returned my Dell 3207C, and then promptly got the LG 32C2DU. Overall, the clear winner between the 2 is the LG. The ONLY thing the Dell has over the LG is that my 360 was slightly clearer on the Dell. My Wii, on the other hand, looked like crap and would freeze every so often. I would say overall PQ is better on the LG too. I kinda liked the sound that the Dell put out, but it is not all worth it. The MAIN reason I originally went for the LG though was the QAM tuner, and MAN does that rock. I recieve all local HD channels through my regular analog cable, and its great!

Let me know if you have any other questions!

I'm far from a pro, but I think they're basically the same, aside from the inputs; I haven't found a place that sells both. I have the U version, mostly cause it has every type of connection you can think of, and couldn't be happier.
