Hello boys and girls,

So I've been researching for 2 months now and just wanna pull the trigger.
I've been looking at the 40" Sony (V2500) and 40" Samsungs (4051/4092/4096).
The only thing is that I wish the Sony had PIP. My deciding factor really comes down to what processes SD better? I'm in Canada, so I'm not going to go HD til they add more channels.

My question is what LCD processes SD the best?Sony? Samsung? Sharp?
I'm looking at the 40-42" sets.
Any recommedations?

Thanks guys!

Depends on which Sony. The best model has a better processor according to my local Sony dealer. Having a set with a good scaler is a major key to watching SD and some sets have better scalers than others. Best bet is to go to a store where they will show you SD on the different models.
