GOT IT!!! thanks guys...

---------------------

As the title suggest I am going to buy the lvm-47w1 tomorrow (in 6-7 hours). I have been lurking around here for a bit and it seems this monitor will be the best for my interest (PC Media Center, HDTV, and HD-DVD.,<$2,000)

I have been trying to sort through the 97 page thread on this monitor to answer my questions but I am now just hoping one of you pros could quickly answer my few questions

-How is the viewing angle of this screen?

-Should I place it right at eye level from my couch?

-*WarningThis question is really amateur*Do I really need to buy a wall mount or is there enough holes in the back of the screen to line up with the stud spacing in my apartment?Whatever that may be??

-Last and most importantCan you think of any questions I should ask before I say I'll take it? I am already going to make sure that they are willing to do a full cash refund in case of even 1 dead pixel.

-Curiosity questionWhy has this screen been discontinued? Will there still be good support and updates if need be?

Sorry for all the newbie questionsI think this might be my first post. In will tell ya one thing though..I will be around here a lot more. This screen is just the beginning to a new hobby of mine. Too see more of my hobbies just google search BEHMER or Sean Behmmaybe throw BMW in there too :-) Anyways, I really get into my toys. I am glad to be onboard.
Thanks for putting up with my really pathetic first post. Pictures on the way soon.

The viewing angle is quite narrow on this set - probably it's weakest issue. And ask for version 1.05 firmware as that is now the latest.

You can't mount this directly on the wall, you have to use a wall mount.
