OK So I have about decided a 37" for the bedroom where I hang out while my SO watches Soap Net in the living room. I am trying to locate a set with IEEE1394 to connect a D-VHS deck HD inputs for DTV HD Tivo, and LG HD-DVD/BR player component for a std dvr used for archiving. The old KD34 xbr960 was the perfect set with a plethora of inputs and an amazing picture but SONY screwed that up with the replacement XBR970. I think both MITS and JVC might have units that offer this type of connectivity but would appreciate input from users on pros and cons of the 2 sets and the relative strength of the lines in comparison.
