I have a question. I have a TC-26lx70, and I use it mostly for playing PS3. The picture quality is great, but I have one issue with it, in some games where there are lights shining off off metal, or sunlight etc, there seems to be like glare, and a little bleeding of the white. I was playing Army of two, and during the game there are alot of levels where they are outside, and wearing metal armor, and the sunlight reflecting off the armor, helmets, and weapons was very bright, almsot to the point that those items lost all level of their details. My picture settings are as follows
picture mode= custom
backlight= -30
picture= 0
brightness= +20
color== -5
tint= 0
sharpness= +5
color mode= cool
ai picture and NR= off
black level= light
are there any picture settings you can suggest that may help with this. I have tried turning brightness dow, as well as picture, ai picture, and NR on, black level to dark etc, all to no avail. I am hoping it's not just my tv, any and help will be appreciated.

So should I pick up a 26" LX70 or a Samsung 26" or last years model (42 or 53h)? I'm probably going to be gaming with a 360 through Component or HDMI until I get a PS3 in which case I'll be watching BD movies.

Are you sure this is a product of the TV and not just the HDR lighting being used in the game? It sounds like it's just a lighting effect and not the TV. Halo 3 has a lot of that. Also, I'm thinking of grabbing this TV. Is there any lag when playing games?

I just bought a similar model LX75, it's the LX70 with VGA input. I'm connecting it using VGA cable from my PC's DVI port. The problem is when i set the resolution to 1360x768@60hz, the screen would go blank intermittently for 2~3 seconds, then it comes back to normal. I have not observe any black out at 1024x768 though.

Has anyone makes it work at 1360x768?

Uncreative.Name I noticed a little lag when I had video NR on, but after turning it off I have noticed no lag, and I have very sensivitive eyes, so if it was lagging I would have noticed it, all and all it's a great TV, and amazing picture quality.

I've done one on mine. Forget where I got the update, but it was one one of Panasonic's sites.

It's in a really bad place, on the rear panel of the TV, but it is there. It is marked, but a bit hard to see. The card goes up (vertically) into a small SD card slot. I'll try to get a picture up soon--I can't find one on the web.

EDIT: It's by the HDMI ports. Check page 9 of your manual.
