Sorry to be a nuisance, caught my son and nephew attempting to connect a PS3 to the above and they were in the Service Menu. I managed to stop them, but now the white balance is too "white" at certain times. Can anyone help me rectify this please?
According to him, Color in the SM adjust the total overall color.

ElwayLite posted this before the professional calibration and with the tools available to him. Sorry, cannot locate the thread.
All drive F6
AVfile Service Menu settings:
CUTs: all 80 (no change)
ALL-DRV: FC (no change)
R-DRV: E9 (was ED)
G-DRV: FF (was FC)
B-DRV: 89 (was A5)
Contrast: 000 (no change)
Color: 43 (was 3D)
TINT: 00 (was 03)
Sub-Brt: 7FE (was 800)
With these settings I ran Cinema mode at default (simply press RESET in the user menu) and reduced Contrast to 62 (could go a bit higher if needed but never above 90). No mucking around with any other user settings.
As you can see I raised green to the limit, reduced red a bit, and reduced blue a lot! This was done to match my ISF calibrated Pioneer CRT's white balance and flesh tones (fixed the typical "red face" problem in warm mode). It also agrees with the professional reviews that declared warm mode still a bit cooler than the D65 standard.
