I have upgraded recently and will be selling my old Panasonic TH-42PA20 and am wondering what I can expect to get out of it? It is in perfect shape, stand, remote, etc... Anybody give me an idea?

It hurts to tell you this but there probably isn't much demand on the used TV market for a 4-year old ED set. I like to look at various cities' Craigslists and the going rate for a 2005 model 42PX50U for instance is like $500-$600, so i'd guess a 42PA20 might get $300-$400. You probably paid ten times that amount when it was new. The prices for a used 42PX50U were so low that i decided to just keep mine when i upgraded to a new PZ700U, and it's now in the den where my GF uses it to watch lots of Food Network and chick-flick DVDs. It's in pristine condition and i just couldn't bear to let it go for such a low current market value to some moocher

I'm thinking of selling my 50PX60U to a friend. Any idea what a fair price would be?

You should be able to get roughly $700-$800 if its in excellent shape.

Chris

Thanks creemail!

That's exactly (800) what my dealer said he'd give me on a trade in.
