There was an error in the Fry's advertisement concerning both this TV and the 60PS60, reporting they had Netflix streaming. Apparently, I was the first person to catch the error, once I got home and started studying the units' manuals online. I went back to the store, and they could not have been more helpful and apologetic. There are now corrections out everywhere. They did not have another television with Netflix streaming capacity, but made me a very good deal on the Samsung 63B550 as a gesture of goodwill, which will be delivered Monday. It cost me a fair amount more money, but the bargain factor was too compelling for me to turn down. All of which is to say that I'll be swapping threads, I suspect.
FYI: I did call LG, and they confirmed that any LG unit bought at Fry's comes with the full 1 yr P&L/2 yr parts warranty. The 60PS11 is a current model according to "Toni," with whom I spoke.
