panasonic released a new update for their tvs not to long ago it's update 3.7.2 all this update does is it ads a app store to list of thing the tv can do that's what update 3.7.2 was designed to do nothing else unlike update 3.5 which ads movie theater like 3D ability also known as the james cameron update.wink.gif

i think best way to get better sound out of your tv is add bose compact sound system or a sound bar.

If you mean software (firmware) updates, the current version is 3.72 and is the only one required as it includes all previous updates. This can be downloaded to USB from the Panasonic support site or directly within the TV if it is connected to the internet via its ethernet port.

Just bought a 58VT25 with zero hours on it and wondering if i should use Dnice break in and calibration settings. Just wanting recent opinions on this topic. Panasonic advised me not to, so what to do???

Go to Amazon and order a set of Sony Playstation3 3D glasses for about $25, they work just fine with the Pre-VT50 Panasonic models.

I bought this tv in 2010 and got the 10 blinks of death. I replaced the mother board and it didn't fix the issue. So according to the service manual, SC board was the next option. I replaced that and the TV now turns on, but the picture (on all or no inputs is as seen in the attached picture. Is there a simple way to fix this?

hey guys....I have a Panasonic VT25...and lately, I've been having an issue with the 3D functionality. When trying to watch anything in 3D, most of the entire left side of the screen flickers in a large rectangle form...like, as if only the right side is 3D, while the left flickers as if both images are not aligning properly....I thought it may have been the glasses, but it's not. has anyone else encountered this issue? Thanx for any input anyone may have....

Anybody here using the built-in MLB.TV app? I've pretty much given up on it because of the constant down-resolution that occurs during periods of high demand, i.e., when all the teams are playing. The picture becomes un-watchable at times. Interestingly enough, the MLB app works just fine on a Roku in another room. The only thing I can surmise is that it's routed half-way around the world when streaming to the Panasonic.

Hey all,

Last week I noticed an update was available for my VT25 and I loaded it. It was version 3.750. Anybody know what is in this update? Many thanks.

From what I've read it seems to be an update of the Skype App.

The Panny website says it's for Skype, but the installed said something (IIRC) related to "peak".

Either way, my ISF-calibrated Panny sure looks great!

Anyone know what happened to the ShoutCast radio app on the VT25? It disappearded on me a few weeks ago and stopped working. Thanks.
