I was wondering if BB can still order Pioneers and if so..what is the cheapest 1080p that they make? Anything around 2,000 new?

Your not going to find any Pio for anywhere near 2k, but BB still has a few of them. I checked my Magnolia store, and there were no 60s, but the the guy was able to locate a few 50 Elites in the area. I didn't ask him about price because I was only interested in the 60".

The guys in Magnolia I've spoken to always seem to be enthusiastic about being able to get a Kuro for you.

I think the guy quoted me $2500 for a 101, but that was after I gave him that figure beforehand. I would probably get the Kuro if it could be had for 2k.

Mine had a 5020 in box for a bit over 1700. The wife said "I don't care how legendary the "kuro" is. You are not buying one." I had to settle for the g20 instead.

$2500 for the 101 last time I looked, there are a few hundred company wide still, you need to be at a Magnolia location though.

Since they're on closeout I don't think they could "order" one for you. "Find one in a nearby store" for you is probably more like it.

I was in Best Buy tonight (Brandon, FL) and they had three Pioneer plasmas on the floor. Two 50" Elites ($2999), and one 50" non-Elite ($1799).

They can order all they want, but Pioneer is out and no more are coming. my company bought the last 600 or so and we have sold every one except for a few floor models. Call around and find someone with it in stock anywhere any price, jump on it while you can.

We are the people our parents warned us about!

I think that's what the guy was doing because I was watching his computer screen while he was searching and it looked like stores in about a 100 miles radius were scrolling down the screen. I assume there may be some max distance they will ship between stores.

Andrew,

If you think you could wrap up a 600M floor model for me, please give me a call and lets work out a price.

Dan (Bought your last NIB 500M )

There have been 3 6020's rotting on the floor of the Reston, VA Best Buy for the past few weeks, but I figured that had something to do with the fact they're charging something like full retail for them ... ~$4000??
