Any thoughts on the comparison between these 2? Obviously the 950 has more features with all the web stuff. Also, I think it has a better anti-reflective filter although I'm not sure. But I've read about some kind of sharpness issues with the 750 and 950. Plus the 550 is a few hundred cheaper and is available on Amazon while the 950 isn't.

So what do you guys think about these 2 sets?

Some thoughts:

Preference = TV features, reflective screens bothering you, etc etc.

Room brightness
= have a Bright room with little light control? Get something with an anti-glare filter or the reflections may bother you.

Budget
= how much can you afford, or how much you are willing to pay?

Personally i have a 50PK550 and love it, but i have total light control so reflections are not a concern. I also prefer to keep my gadgets separate, so not having internet apps built into my TV doesn't bother me one bit. I got an unbeatable deal at the time so the price was just right.

The 950 is available on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/LG-Infinia-60P...8327554&sr=8-1

But I think you mean from Amazon. But even from a vendor like OneCall it's hard to go wrong.

The asking price now is less than I paid for the Sammy 58B650 on closeout from Vann's back in March.

I have the 950 and there are no issues with sharpness. The picture quality is absolutely amazing. I have a fairly bright living room so the AR filter was a necessity for me.

Thanks. This helps. I'd be putting it in a basement where I have very little window light but some light bulb light that does reflect a little on my DLp I have there now. Does the improved AR filter in the 950 sacrifice the picture quality at all? Does anyone know if the 950 is going to get the Skype feature anytime soon? That one seems cool as my family uses skype a lot on my laptop. The rest of the internet stuff I can just get on my Tivo or blu-ray player.

You're right about it being "on" Amazon but it would be nice if I could get it with the $200 of Tivo Premiere and maybe the interest free financing. Neither of those are deal breakers but they would be nice.
