I have a Panasonic TC-P50S2 and have noticed that whilst I'm able to turn off the overscan "feature" on 1080p signals (switching HD size to 2), 720p signals don't seem to allow me to turn off overscan. Is there any trick or option that I'm unaware of that can turn off overscan for 720p signals?

I primarily use my TV for PS3 gaming, and unfortunately most PS3 games only output 720p (i.e., no option for 1080p upscale), and this results in some of the picture being cut off.

Also, are newer Panasonic plasmas/LCDs still afflicted by this issue?
