Ok. Lets take the shoot out for example. The end result is basically suppose to mean the best TV all around. Not just PQ.

Is the KURO a better picture. Purely depends on the person asking.

Why do you keep using the shootout when the Kuro wasn't even in score charts listed? It was just there for the audience......its like you don't understand that the winner of the shootout could only be a 2011 set thats what the shootout is for...THAT YEARS SETS.....do you understand this now or do I have to keep saying it?

My 65VT30 is no upgrade since i don't care about internet crap or 3D. My 5020 Kuro just flat out had a more pure pic and the blacks popped. I will say i am happy with my just over 2 week old 65vt30, been prob free and looks even better since Dnice gave it a cal Xmas nite. The only reason i went with the VT was the 65" screen vs my 50" Kuro.

So i am happy with my VT, but if i had a choice and could buy a new 60" Kuro today, then the Kuro would win everytime.

Be glad to know that your VT will get darker blacks the loner you use it I believe the charts said around 2,000 or 3,000 hours its the darkest then it rises alittle but ends up being darker then when you first got it.

It would take me years to get 3000 hours on it. I don't think my 5020 Kuro had 3k hours on it when i sold it. By then i am ready for another display.

I've love to see proof of this. I have a 2007 Kuro (5010-FD) and my new Panny 42ST30 is nice but not close. I know it's an ST and not a VT, but still.

I only own a measly Pioneer 940 Elite (no 9G Kuro) and a Panasonic GT30 (no VT30) and to me the old Pio still bests the new GT30 when it comes to PQ.
