I'm the same. About a 3 week old 65vt50. Buzz on a screen with a lot of whites or a bright screen. I sit about 12 feet away and can hear it on low volume scenes. Was watching tron legacy the other night, and the scene where they first enter Jeff Daniels house and everything is white, the floor, ceiling, furniture, I can hear the buzzing since there is not a lot of sound just some dialog. But it really pulls u out of the moment. Same for a progressive commercial. Lots of white. But watching the World Series I don't think I heard it once during the game. So I dunno. TV is wall mounted so I'm wondering if I am getting reflection off the wall. Might try and tilt the TV mount a little to see if that helps.
I'm just trying to figure out if what I have would be "within" the standard buzz I would get form a normal 65VT50. Or I should take my chances and ask for an exchange. My next set could be better could be worse. I just don't know what would the normal be for this TV. I know some people say theirs is silent. But is it truly silent, or they just don't hear it. Maybe theirs isn't wall mounted?
