Is the reason that no one can make a plasma with blacks as good as a Pioneer Kuro due to the fact that they just don't know how or that if they did the sets would sell for 99 trillion dollars?

What I don't understand is this: you can spend a bozillion dollars on speakers and amplifiers and nearly every other kind of electronic gizmo that very FEW people can buy BUT

the possibility of spending a few thousand for a plasma TV with blacks as good as a Pioneer Kuro is a feat that is harder than putting a man on the moon!

Why is that?

Im sure they have the know how, it's primarily cost for the R&D and consumer cost that's the problem. No manufacturer wants to go down the road of Pioneer. One of the key issues mfgs deal with today are energy guidelines which are also causing some problems in producing a Kuroesque panel.
