Helping a friend look for a plasma (55") and go to Costco website. They do not list ANY plasma TV's. WTF? They were there a month ago.

Dude-- you're a month LATE. 2011 panels were on their way out and now we're waiting on the 2012 to show up. This happens every year but more so from here out as panel makers are less inclined to carry over inventory and take the accompanying clearance retail hit.

You can try to find one in store. Each location has its own stock so you should call around and save a wasted trip. It's a long shot at this point though...

Just bought the LG 60PV250 for 899 in New Jersey. They also have Panasonic plasma TVs.

Costco's online store's inventory is completely separate from their B&M stores. Even during the middle of Plasma season, they could have one model on their website one day, three models the next day, then no models on the 3rd day. Then on the 6th day they suddenly have two models.

And the stores randomly have models that aren't showing in their online store, and visa-versa. And now we're between model years so remaining inventory is getting thin and new inventory isn't shipping yet.

I bought a Panny 60ST30 two weeks ago at Costco, they had about 5 in stock. I'm headed there tonight and will take a look. Where are you located, robertwhite?
