Looking to purchase either the Panasonic P65GT30 or the P65ST30 through Amazon. Currently there is a $300 price difference between the two. The GT model is at the top of my price range, and was curious if it was worth the extra money compared to the ST model?

Get the ST50, it's better than both of those TV's.

Only you can decide if the GT30's extra features are worth the extra money. Some think it is, while others think it is not.

Here is a list of the extra features the GT30 has over the ST30 - see if the ones that interest you make it worth the extra money:

I have both a 55ST30 and a 65GT30…for me aesthetically the GT models is better looking….picture wise (right now since the GT is only a few weeks old) it’s a tossup.

The only difference I could see was the bezel. After calibration, I can't see a PQ difference at all.

As D-Nice has previously said, they calibrate similarly. I had my 65ST30 pro cal'd and my calibration report is about the same as the 60-65" GT30 in THX mode from the reports I've seen. Blacks are the same too. There are some differences in gamma between the two, but not a huge deal. Once you get below 60", there seems to be more variance between the ST30/GT30 for whatever reason.

Mainly cosmetic. I forked over the extra money (about $300 at the time) for the 65GT30 based totally on how much better I think the bezel looks. That may seem silly but I have to look at the thing for the next four years or so and I really like it's design. ST30 is much more plasticky.

I have no problems with the ST30 bezel and it looks nicer in person versus images I've seen. However, to each his own.....or her own if you have a wife as she is making the call for a lot of folks on this forum it seems.
