Hi all -

I've recently noticed a stuck pixel on my new St30 plasma. It appears black on red, yellow and orange scenes, green on white/grey, black on black and displays blue and green normally.

I'm slightly OCD (and on AVS, so I'm not alone here) and normally I would just return it and get a new one. However, the ST30 is out of stock everywhere in LA as it is last year's model. I would go for the ST50, but the minimum size of 50 inches is just too big for me.

I'm wondering if these pixels will normally correct themselves over time or if there is some sort of pixel remap function (my Canon camera has this for it's 1 million + LCD screen) in the service menu somewhere.

Thanks guys, please let me know.

Would not expect to see one stuck pixel, while watching regular program material, from a Normal Viewing distance.

Still, FWIW, we had a pixel stuck on RED on at 60" ST30, but it managed to "self-correct" itself before the initial aging process was complete...
