So I really wanted to get a 65ST30 or even an 60S30. My budget was around $1,500 and I guess I waited to long to pull the trigger on the ST or S.

Now I've managed to find a 65GT30 ALMOST within my budget...nevertheless it was "slightly used" still full factory warranty...and I can return if bad from the local store.

HOWEVER since then I've found a new one for about $300 more...without going into "pricing details" is there any reason I should spend the extra cash or is the barely used model a safe bet especially since I can return.

Just looking for some insight guys....

Thanks in advance!

What are the hours, cosmetic defects, any sign of burn in etc. Depends on how import that $300 is to you I guess.

Yeah, great questions...I am trying to find that out. I am also struggling as now I've found a NEW ST30 around the same price and since I plan to calibrate, not sure the gamble is worth it on saving the money. YES, the wife will LOVE the sexier panel of course on the GT....but I doubt there is any other benefit.

Just found out the GT MIGHT not carry a Manufacturers Warranty...so IF I need any of the fixes, boards, etc..I am out of luck.

On to the search for a ST now.
