Long time lurker here...

I'm presently battling Panasonic with an issue that has recently cropped up on my TV (I've owned it for 6 months - still within warranty). I wanted to see if anyone has seen this happen on a Plasma before.

Basically, my plasma recently developed an "excited" green pixel that has decided it wants to be a spastic green color forever. It loves to turn off/on constantly and fluctuate brightness with darker colors, and tends to remain on with lighter colors (although it will occasionally dim/flicker as well).

Note: The area of the screen where the pixel is located is hotter than the rest of the screen. It's noticeable to the touch anyways...need to get a infrared themometer to confirm but I had a buddy confirm what I thought - it's hotter than every other part of the screen.

I submitted the video below to Panasonic yesterday and I'm awaiting their response. I attempted to showcase it the best I can.
