So I ordered the E7000 sight unseen today.. I looked at the ST50 they had, but the white looked really dirty? Especially compared to the store full of LED's.
Can I have both in a plasma, bright whites and dark blacks?

Based on picture I liked the UN60ES6500 and 7500 a lot but reading the posts hoped the plasma could impress me more...

Probably over-thinking it as it's for the fam to be used for netflx of cartoons, network HD and way to much 3d...rolleyes.gif

Now the 5 day wait.

I am looking at both these TV's as well. The TV will be in my basement which only window is my sliding glass it will be a very dark room. Is the darks going to be that much noticeable, and how is the brightness and color differ?

I've had both and was able to do a brief side by side comparison in my home. The ST50 is a bit brighter and the blacks are a bit darker but the difference seemed pretty small to me. Both look great. The Samsung seems to do a better job with non high definition content.

BiotypE, you stated that you play games with the ST50, is it the 60" model? I'm looking at purchasing this TV and am wondering if there's any vertical streaking when playing games such as Skyrim, Mass Effect, Halo, Gears, etc. Especially when panning left to right quickly?

65% of the time I will be watching BD (TV shows, Movies, etc)
25% of the will be gaming
15% will be cable HD and SD content. Some of that SD content will be older DVDs being unconverted on my BDP.
