Looking for a thin wall mount for the GT50. Panasonic only sells Omni mount and not their own.

I was wondering if anyone has used a Samsung Ultra thin mount for their Panasonic - I know it sound crazy, but if they are VESA compliant this may actually work.

I have the Samsung mount from a unit i am returning and thought it may work.

Model: Samsung WMN2000B Ultra Slim Wall Mount for 46 to 60 Inch TVs

Any Positive or constructive feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!

Monoprice has great deals on mounts. If you want a very thin mount then you will probably want one that doesn't tilt. The ones that tilt sit a few inches off the wall. Flat wall mounts, like this one: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10828&cs_id=1082807&p_id=5082&seq=1&format=2
sit very close to the wall, @1.5", but do not tilt.

Keep in mind your connections on the back of the set. If they are horizontal, meaning straight out from the back of the set, you might have issues, unless you get some right angle connectors. Also, the power cord on the set too, those sometimes plug in horizontal and not vertical.

Also, the set being that close to the wall, there might be overheating issues with the vents in the back of the set.
