Strongly considering pulling the trigger on this TV. A little worried about buzzing, and trying to get a sense of how common the problem is.

For those capable, did you read the one post here somewhere where a guy's set was buzzing and driving him nuts? He pulled off the back cover off and it turned out to be a wiring harness resting against the back and causing the buzz. I think he said he glued a little piece of foam or something to the back to isolate it, put the cover back on and all the buzz was gone.

I voted yes and if I could vote yes 3 times I would as I went through 3 PN64E8000s that had a very annoying directional buzzing, which hit the viewer front and center at eye/ear level. The buzzing not being "normal" was confirmed by a Samsung certified service technician and several installers from the retailer, which is why I would vote yes 3 times instead of once and chalking it up to overly sensitive hearing.

Just came from BB and i must say if you can get one that don't buzz it will be a nice tv indeed; picture was awesome on that tv...............the Panasonics seem washed out and greenish compared to the Samsung. Also the Panasonic had burn in while the Samsung had none and both were showing the same content. I have the 60 inch one in my scope just itching to pull the trigger.
