Yes, you must have done something wrong. A few questions:

1) What model Samsung do you have? (I assume it is a Samsung.)

2) Why did you feel it was necessary to perform Janos' ADC calibration?

3) What were your ADC Result (2nd_R_L, 2nd_G_L, 2nd_B_L, 2nd_R_H. 2nd_G_H, 2nd_B_H) and WB (Brightness, Contrast, Offset and Gain) values before performing the calibration?

4) What are your ADC Result and WB values after performing the calibration?

1)Samsung ps51d535
2)Becaus i wasent happy with my pic quality, and when i did it it was much better.
3)2nd _R_L 134,2nd_G _L134,2nd_B_L 134,2nd_R_H49,2nd_G_H49,2nd_B_H49.WB unchanged. Contrast 90,brightness 58.the rest at deafults.
4)ADC Result 2nd _R_L75,2nd_G_L75,2nd_B_L75,2nd_R_H124,2nd_G_H124,2nd_B_H124.WB values unchanged.
After my contrast was set at 80 and brightness too 58 with avshd 709.i had too chang the hdmi black from low too normal, then the brightness was set right.

It looks like you used the wrong pattern. Manually try reversing the numbers -- make the L values124 and the H values 75.
AND read this thread: http://www.avsforum.com/t/777497/samsung-calibration-failure

Larry

After i change the L values to 124 and H values to 75,i can turn on the hdmi black low, then my contrast was set to 85 and brightness to 67.

Shield,

Read this post by zoyd and try his patterns.

EDIT: What type of source are you using that requires the black level to be set to Low? The only one that I'm aware of is the Directv HR24-500 receiver.

I need to put gamma at +2 on hdmi black low then i get a brightness at 59,if i dont turn up gamma i get brightness at 74 on hdmi black low,if i use normal then i then i get brightness at 36 whic i think look great better blacks offcours, but i doubt it could be right anyway and the same on low brightness at 74,i think mayby bright at 59 and gamma could be right,i done this with avshd 709.my contrast on low will be 83,on normal its 90.

You received your answer over at AVforums.com. The black level should be set at Normal.

I suggest that you manually put your ADC values back to their factory settings and leave them there.
