I have a 5 year old plasma (TH-50PX75U) that has just started to show a black bar across the top. It covers exactly 1/2 the screen. I've done a little research and it seems like it could be potentially a few things. The most logical is the Upper Y buffer board (not really sure if this is the problem). Is this something that can be cheap to fix? What could the cost be to fix this, roughly? Or should I just throw it away and buy a new plasma?
