How do we know if the reviews are honest and not being payed for???

Which reviews in particular ? CNET is pretty fair and alot of the pro reviews have been backed up by user experience and pro calibrators on this site.

Ask your questions from actual users here. If their responses are close to what the reviewer stated, then it's probably an un-biased review. Reviews are great places to start but I give more weight to the users who have them in their homes and not some sterile test environment.

Seriously though, I guess you don't. As Otto says, you just have to look around and see what info jives and weed out the outliers. Usually it becomes apparent sooner or later when someone (whether a website or a forum poster) has an agenda. Don't take any single opnion as gospel.

LOL,you guys are alright,i'm new to all this,i have a DLP Sammy and it's freezing up so we will get the Panny 50 w/THX.I'll just cut the screen off the DLP and put it over the plasma tongue.gif also have to get a reciever but don't need the am fm stuff just an amp i guess,i'll have to research that too. Thanks who do i pay for the answers????biggrin.gif
