I read where someone had the so called ghosting and the warranty would not cover that,the set was 6 months old.VT50

Read the warranty for the specific set you are interested in. You may have difficulty reading the warranty from your post, though. If you have the VT50 read the warranty for that unit. How do you define ghosting? Are you sure you understand the term?

Yes i understand the term,what i am asking is that sounds like a factory problem and should be covered by warranty,and someone is getting the run around from Panasonic.I would like to get one becuase Samsung screwed me so no Samsung,is there anyone out there that sells an honest product???And if i get it from Amazon i ain't got no problem drivin to Airyzona and shovin it up their HO HO HO !

Hard to say since this is all based on a story you read, hard to judge a whole brand by a vague experience of someone else. I had a Samsung LCD that I didn't like the flashlighting/clouding issues with, and while not a warranty issue, just returned it through the seller after a few weeks. Samsung plasma I exchanged it for I like a lot. It's out of warranty now so my problem. How did Samsung screw you?

i had a couple of products that went on the blink,tv right about the time the warranty was gone,but they knew of the problem,same with a Dennon reciever,i am a little tired of being ripped off!

^^^^ then shop a little wiser, carefully read the mfrs warranty, and if you get an extended one, understand what it covers and doesn't cover. Not all warranties are the same.
