I can't seem to find much info on the TH-50PH30U. I have a 42" 9UK from 2005 and have see that the ST50 is a favorite. Just wondering how the commercial Panasonic plasmas are these days compared to the ST50. I really like our 9UK, very reliable and zero issues.

I believe the PH30U uses the same core panel as 2011 entry-level 768p X3 series consumer model.

The ST50 kills the X3.
