hi
i am buying an hdtv today ( a few hours) and need some advice.

which one should i get out of these ?
PN59D7000 vs PN60E6500

or would you go for TC-P60U50 + oppo bdp-93 to make up for the lack of video and audio decoders built in to the panny for example DTS,DTS-HD ETC..

i want to be able to play and decode any A/V codec i throw at it i know the oppo and the samsungs series 6's and up do.

so should i go sammy if so which one ?
will the cheap panny's picture be as good as the sammy's above ?

p.s.
i know the oppo is very expensive but i can get the cheap panny and the oppo for the same price as the sammy's.
i already have a un55c7000 and i dont want to downgrade PQ from this model already owned...

THANKS

Have you looked at the Panasonic VT50? Go check out the reviews. Cnet rated best overall picture. Get BestBuy to price match.

If your looking for the best picture, buy the 55VT50, if you must have a 60 get the 60GT50 or ST. I love my VT50

Just based on this...I would always buy what I perceived as the better TV versus a 'lesser TV plus accessory(s)'. You can always save up for bluray players or whatever in the future, I generally think it's harder to pull off a TV upgrade without taking a hit.
