I was curious if a 4K plasma has ever been developed even if it isn't a production model?

I know some people think plasma may be on its last year but with much brighter plasmas to compete in mega aisle stores, I think they might survive for a while. I'm one of those people who notices the motion on LCD so I would never want one until they actually make one that doesn't seem jumpy to me and I've seen just about every speed LCD on the market.

Didn't AVJ say they had a 4K PDP prototype?

The 145" is a prototype but it's an 8K. The 152" production model is a 4k. Never heard of a prototype 4k. The 85" and 103" are 2K panels.

edit: I guess most of the new tv's at CES are prototypes but closer to production models.
