Sorry - ya I was joking about the price but not my love for the Kuro

Don't want to bust this thread but I would guess around $2500 for a very clean unit and maybe $1500 for one with a small imperfection

This may sound low seeing as there ain't many around

Yeah, even with the small blemish I think $1500 sounds a bit low. I'd probably look to get around $2k out of the set if at all possible, but it's just a matter of finding the right buyer. cool.gif

I still have my 60" Signature Series Edition Elite Kuro PRO-141FD. I'm in Los Angeles so it's a doable drive for you to pick up if you're still interested.

The Kuro is an amazing picture. It was one of the last one's out of the factory and I even got to select the specific panel since my wife worked for the video management group at the time. I've never had ANY problems with it. Is anything this bullet proof or rock solid blacks and colors these day. I don't know if anything today even touches it, but the family think it's time to move on. They would like 3D, smart apps, smaller bezel but I want to keep at the best picture quality possible.

I like the design of the LG LCD but I don't know about the quality. Samsung LCD seems to get better review. Depending on who you talk to LCD just still isn't there with Plasma. OLED and Ultra HD are too much to spend.

So am I back with Plasma (why I posted here)? If so who?

Thanks for your advance input, I just don't know what to replace the Kuro with that's on a similar level. HELP....

I'm in Los Angeles if it makes a difference so it's easy for me to check out all the sets around town, but need some advise before running around.
hey, do you still have you 151?

Factory box is long gone but aftermarket packaging for shipping large, heavy, and expensive flat panels are available.

These things aren't light or small though so with the cost of packaging it might be a bit expensive.

I know people here still rave about the blackness of the final generation elite pro series... but how does motion resolution, phosphor trail, input lag and color accuracy (in pure mode) compared to THX Panasonic plasmas that came out in 2011-2012-2013?
