My 55st50 is turning off then on randomly when there's a fluctuation in the signal, like between commercials or when switching picture modes, especially when trying to switch to game mode. Some times it happens when I exit out of a recording on my DVR. I've tried plugging the tv into different outlets and I've even reset the tv by doing the System Check power down thing. Anybody got any ideas?

Yes. I was hoping that you had an avr in between that might be causing a handshake issue. Does it do it with the PS3 too? If it doesn't then you might want to try swapping out your cable box.

Yeah, it's the same with the ps3. It seems that when there's a slight signal interruption it happens, which is why I specifically mentioned going to game mode, cause there's always been a slight pause, on every input, when game mode is selected.

Is the tv actually shutting down (does the red "on" indicator light turn off and on) or is the screen just going blank for a few seconds)? Many sets go blank screen for a few seconds when the input resolution changes.

The red light turns off, and then the box that tells you which input your using comes up.
