Can anyone confirm that the TV stand and bracket is the same for the VT60 55", 60" and 65" ?

There is a local guy who is offering his 65" VT60 for $2300....considering it and need to move my 55" upstairs if so!

They are not the same. I have the 60 and 65. The 65 is bigger.

I realize this is a long shot but is anyone willing to sell me their 55" VT60 stand bracket and screws? I have the base stand, but never got the bracket or screws from the guy I bought it from.

Is wall mounting not an option? Check eBay and post a request in the classifieds section.

Since them the image of my tv freezes including sound and some times I see sqares distorting the image.

this can happen every 5 or 10 seconds or could stay 1/2 hour without any problem.

If I play a movie with Ps3 or recorded movies prior the Modem modification, the image does not freeze.

They have been coming here 3 times changed at least 5 modem/router, checked the wireing from the HUB outside my building to my apt. and no problem even they changed the Cards in the HUB and still no dice.

then today they changed my PVR and still no luck

I am wondering could it be my TV or Bell Fibe. TIA

The problem was that Kaspersky sent me an email to update for win10 and when completed it knocked my internet from the modem then when it came back, it was sucking 85% of the internet thus freezing the tv image and slow internet. Removed Kaspersky internet security and installed AVAST and now my tv working well and my internet is fast.

Its not clear in my mind yet what would be the difference between Panasoni APPS and this box MX III MX3 XBMC Kodi 1080P QUAD CORE 4.4 Android Smart TV BOX 4K Media Player

tv is a smart tv so it should do the same function as this box.

will wireless keyboard work with the tv or bluetooth keyboard.

Is there another android box better than the above. tia

Oh no, I just got home from a ten day vacation only to find my VT 60 powered on and the network screen from Denon avr x4000 on it. Needless to say I have burn in. I'm running the break in slides to see if I can get rid of it. Any other ideas?

I've had persistent IR on my ZT from an NBC channel logo. I ran the screen wipe for 4 hours one day and it made a huge difference. But, since I usually have the Today Show on during the work week, it never goes away completely. The IR is faint, but noticeable in lower right corner of the screen. Try leaving the screen wipe on overnight and see what effect it has.

Hello everyone,I am thinking about buying a used 65vt60 2400hrs on it in S.C. its listed in the classifieds here,I have a 50in LG plasma now(pk550)thats going on six years old so I know a bit about plasma tv's. Now my question: is there any specific problem areas I should look for in this model besides IR and burn in and making sure all functions work as they should, as well what precautions to take transporting it from South Carolina down to my house in Florida. The owner has the original box but I will want to make sure its packed up right to survive the trip in the back of a F150.

Thanks for the help on this,Jimmy..

P.S. if anyone knows of a 65vt60 for sell closer to Florida P.M. me

The biggest issue will be IR. Bring something that display a solid screen so you can check. Pay particular attention to the top and bottom portions of the screen where IR is more likely to occur. You may see some blurring which is normal IR that all plasmas suffer from. If you see distinct IR such as a channel logo, that may be more of a problem. I would also ask the owner to check for IR before travel up to SC by using a solid background. The TV may have IR but which the owner is not aware of.

Transporting the TV via the original box works. If you can find a moving armor pack that movers use that would be even better since smaller. Transport in upright position, attached to stay upright and covered to protect from rain.

Good luck.

Yes, my 54G10 did have the rising black problem.

I actually remedied it prior to the PMCv2 fix. I got myself an Arduino Board and did it the harder way by re-programming the codes to restore the black level. It is the same thing that his fix does, but his solution makes it quicker and easier to update.

I no longer have a VT60 , sold it over a year ago. IR was a problem on these sets. Everyone I've talked to "in the know" were aware of it on these sets . I will never buy another Panasonic TV again, they knew this was an issue. I'll never forget the Panasonic Insider on ************** that would say he was never aware of it asked.. liar..

Just wanted to make sure you were aware of it. As you're aware, the difference is significant. Funny you never notice it (at least I didn't) until you install the fix.

Well, I am now the proud owner of a second VT60. I just picked up a 60" VT60 with 3500 hours on the set and three years remaining on the Geek Squad warranty for $1650. I moved my 55" upstairs to the family room and now have the 60" in my basement home theater. The 5" difference coming from 55 to 60 really makes a difference in my opinion.

I realize I am 2 years late to be noticing this but the IR on the VT60 is significant. I notice anytime I am using any device setup menu, or browse my media player directories, or use my PS4 that static images remain for a little while? It does appear that anytime I've had IR either time or using the screen wipe for a few days usually gets rid of it, but it is probably the one negative I have against my VT60s.

I usually get worked up when I notice IR, but I have to remind myself that every instance I've encountered of IR was resolved over a few days or using screen wipe overnight.

I own a 55EC9300 and I can assure you it does 4:4:4 chroma, if anything it's the VT60 that can't resolve full 4:4:4. Even with pure direct enabled the chroma is vertically softened.

On the LG you just have to set the input label to PC (don't rename it, simply select PC) and it resolves full 4:4:4 chroma. I've tested it personally as I'm very sensitive to it, especially as I game a lot and seeing jaggy low res red and magenta text is a nightmare for me.

What kills the lg though is the shocking uniformity at the lower IRE of the greyscale. Yes the mll or rather lack of on the lg is great, but in "normal" viewing with a small basis light the blacks of the VT60 are so deep that I don't notice the difference.

The illusion obviously breaks in a pitch black room where I can see the phosphors glowing and blacks looking like a dark grey instead.
