I have never had a 3d or a Plasma tv.Just a layman here.Im also a gamer but im nervous about Plasma.Should I be?.The price is 900 Canadian.Thanks.What esle should I compare it to?.The Pannys?

If you can stretch to the st60, I would say do it. I think you will be happier in every aspect except maybe the smart hub features.

Welcome aboard. Plenty of Plasma owners game without problems, while others have concerns or issues with motion and IR etc. There are dedicated threads about gaming on Plasmas you might want to check out.

There really isn't an equitable model from Panasonic - the F5500 would be closer to the S60 but the S60 doesn't have 3D. The ST60 has 3D but is in a higher class - here's a thread comparing them:
