I was going to post it in the now infamous "What display wins the shootout?" thread, but I think it will just get lost in the sea of posts.

Make sure you use ImgBurn to properly burn the disc image to a BD-R.

Only able to get to about 7 or 8% then it will just stop. Getting pretty good speed though before it stops (2.7 to 2.8 MBPS)

I think it will default to wherever you've specified your browser to do so.

Firstly, thank you to makaveddie81 for uploading this!

However, I do not have a Blu Ray burner and am instead attempting to convert this into a video file that is playable directly from my PS3's hard drive. I want to convert the downloaded ISO to a recognizable format, but when I try to add it to Aimersoft Video Converter it fails to do so. Does anyone have any idea how I would go about converting this ISO to, say MPEG or MKV?

Got it! Thanks!

Downloaded via Firefox took a couple of hours, then saved to hd which took about 30 minutes. Now I need to find a good inexpensive external burner.

i bought the samsung 506bb for 75 bucks out the door at newegg. regular price is 90 but they had a 20 percent off coupon code for that specific product.

i personally love the drive. its external with 6x writing speed.

i was kind of leery about it at first, and used filedropper instead. it turns out filedropper is a scam since after waiting 3 hour for the file to upload, i never got a link to it. there are a lot of complaints about this on the net.

meca.co is awesome, thanks for the recommendation.

have you tried dvdfab?

its what i used to rip it but it has the ability to save as a .iso or other device specific formats (for ps3, iphone, android, etc).

it might just be able to convert the .iso to one of those formats.

How does this site work? When I clicked on the link, the page didn't load due to Noscript (a common occurrence), and Firefox displayed a list of .json files the page apparently wanted to load, and that is something I've never seen before. I went ahead and "allowed" the site and started the download, but the Firefox download button didn't light up as usual. A few seconds later, Firefox popped up a message stating the site wanted to use more than 50 MB of local storage (for reasons unknown), again, something I've never seen before. I couldn't find any evidence of a download in progress. At that point, I was like:

lol, I think it saves it to Firefox's temporary cache folder and then, once complete, moves it to the Firefox download folder. I have downloaded a mutigigabyte file with this service before, so I know it works. However, upon trying to download this 13.28 GB file, it only made it to 4GB upon leaving my browser/computer attended.

I am trying with Firefox one more time. If unsuccessful, I'll install Chrome to give it another go.

I think we might need to find a different file sharing service lol. I just went into my mega.co.nz account and the file is indeed 13GB.

With this size, it's going to be a tall order. wink.gif The separate file I downloaded before successfully was actually only 1.17 GB, so this is a stress test that is orders of magnitude higher. 6+ hours to go on this DL. :0

For what it's worth, I found a few articles and forum posts indicating that mega.co.nz only works properly with chrome. There are still bugs in Firefox and IE.

Let me know if it works with Chrome. If not, perhaps yousendit.com can be the solution?

That's one of the first I ever used. Over the years, they have reduced the free portion and added fees. I think they only host free files for 7 days before deletion, which shouldn't be a problem for us, but another free limitation is in all likelihood the file size (I haven't checked their terms of service in a while). I just wanted to try Firefox on Mega once more before going with the recommendation (call me stubborn!). wink.gif

As I feared, Yousendit restricts file size to a measly 2GB.

No, I'm playing it from a Patriot Box Office media player. It works perfectly. I have yet to throw anything at the PBO that it can't play.

I tried to download it with Chrome. I got to about 4GB which triggered my ISPs traffic management system. Decided to try again later then discovered their fancy downloader can't resume a partial download.
