Hey guys, new to the forum, but have been lurking for a while.

I'm moving to a new apartment and need a TV which I will only keep for a year. I found a 55 ST30 for $500. Supposedly it was used shortly for an art exhibit and then has been in storage for a year.

Is this a good buy? The owner says its a GT30 (the pictures of the manual he sent me support this), but I could tell by the bezel it is an ST. Should i try to get him down to 450 or 400?

Also, I could get a 50 ST30 for 400, also used but i think this one was used on a regular basis by the owner

If it is in good shape, no panel issues then yes its a good deal imo, very solid set

Cool thanks! Figured it was good, my parents have a 55GT10 and always am impressed by the picture...figure the ST30 would probably be very similar to a GT10 since it seems quality filters down to the lower models each year w/panasonic
