I live in a dump of a duplex while I go to college. I currently have an old 27" Sony Trinitron but I really, really want to purchase the 50" Panasonic S60.

My concern is that the electrical service in my place isn't the best, to put it mildly. I believe that there is one 20amp fuse for the whole upper apartment.

To make a long story short(er)... Will the S60 draw considerably more juice than my old Trinatron?

Thanks for any help....

Yes, it will probably draw a little more.

However, a 20A breaker will not be a problem, the S60 draws at most 250W (high contrast bright scenes) IIRC, which is a little over 2 amps.
